SSD - An intelligent way of storing
What is SSD? Stocking-Sorting-Distribution
SSD is an automatic storage system designed for stocking, sorting and distributing diversified goods with the most effective use of space thanks to its state of the artificial intelligence software. Why SSD?- Ability to store up to 30% more goods in the same area compared to traditional automatic storage systems. The area doesn’t even have to be rectangular
- Modular and expandable for future necessities
- Much better input/output times
- Multiple entry/multiple exit possibility
- No ID Tag/ No barcode
- Scheduled delivery programming manually via operator panels or automatically via MR P integration for supplying parts to assembly lines or for loading trucks with finished products
- Time based output scheduling associated with product ID to manage aging processes or expiration date/time
- Integrated web server for remote access
- Ability to install on platforms
How SSD works?
SSD differs in two ways from traditional automatic storage systems:
First: SSD separates vertical and horizontal movements by means of using one shuttle for each floor and one elevator for each entry-exit point.
Second: Most of traditional systems use one cell on the left and one on the right side of the carrier. Therefore an important amount of space is lost for each carrier installed in the system.
In contrast, SSD shuttle incorporates a special push-pull mechanism to insert goods one after the other along the depth of stock cells and makes use of a cubic/matrix filling. The concept makes SSD the ultimate solution in terms of efficiency.
SSD features- One shuttle on each floor
- Elevator manages inter-floor transfer
- Always a receivable palette next to shuttle
- Simple and common wheel palettes
- Powerful and flexible SSD software
- Run-time storage optimization of products
- Order-pick & Scada application
- Remote access from internet
